Introducing ReThink’s Partnership with Energize NY

Re>Think Local is thrilled to announce our partnership with values-aligned Energize NY, whose core mission “is to help New York property owners waste less energy in their buildings.” Using our extensive reach in the Hudson Valley, we will help Energize NY identify potential leads to participate in this beneficial program, which helps commercial property owners improve the value of their buildings save money on energy and reduce the overall carbon footprint of the Hudson Valley by making clean energy improvements to their buildings. Truly a triple bottom line win.

More specifically, “Energize NY Finance offers PACE (Property Assessed Clean Energy) financing to commercial and non-profit property owners for deep energy improvements. Projects include energy efficiency and renewable energy for commercial, multi-family, light industrial and nonprofit owned buildings.”

Re>Think will also facilitate the introduction of Energize NY to municipalities that aren’t currently participating, with the hope that this program will eventually be available to all towns and cities in the Hudson Valley, as well as spread the word to local elected officials and organizations so that information can be disseminated to all those who wish to take advantage of this incredibly worthwhile program.

As part of Re>Think’s involvement, we will have information about Energize NY at all of our future events, as well as include information in our monthly e-newsletters.

We are excited to help move the Hudson Valley to a greener and more sustainable future!
